We will begin our review of density with several in-class activities. These activities will allow students to become more familiar with the concept of density by first comparing the densities of known objects.  The students will then graduate to calculating the densities of unknown objects.  Once their densities are calculated, we will discuss whether or not these objects will float in water through density comparisons.
